Rhododendron indicum

Rhododendron indicum are the evergreen small trees belonging to the genus Rhododendron of the family Ericaceae.

They often grow naturally on the rock in the west of Japan. They are also grown for decoration in Japan. They are popular as Bonsai. Some of them are more than 300 years old.
